Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for and using the University Hospitals of Northmere NHS Trust ("UHON") Staff Intranet, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

2. Eligibility

The Intranet is available exclusively to authorised staff, contractors, and affiliates of UHON. Access requires a valid registration code provided by Trust administration. Sharing your account credentials or registration code with unauthorised individuals is strictly prohibited.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring your profile information is accurate and up to date
• Linking your Roblox account accurately via the official OAuth process

4. Acceptable Use

When using the Intranet, you must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the system
• Use the messaging system to send abusive, harassing, or inappropriate content
• Share confidential patient data or sensitive Trust information outside of authorised channels
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Impersonate another staff member or misrepresent your role

5. Roblox Account Linking

The Intranet requires you to link a Roblox account via Roblox OAuth 2.0 on first login. You may change your linked account at any time through Account Settings. UHON is not responsible for any actions taken on your Roblox account outside of this service.

6. Content and Communications

News articles, announcements, events, and other content published on the Intranet are managed by authorised Trust administrators. Messages sent between staff via the Intranet are subject to monitoring in accordance with Trust policies.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Intranet available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows and system updates may cause temporary downtime. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned outages.

8. Termination

UHON reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Intranet at any time for violation of these terms or upon the end of your employment or affiliation with the Trust.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Intranet following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Intranet announcements.
